This is Nokia's cheapest Music phone offering to date, and for an entry level music phone, it has quite an impressive feature set.

It is a quad-band Mobile phone with a 2 inch color display supporting a resolution of 240x320 and 262k colors. The camera on the phone has a resolution of 2MP, and the phone also comes with a 1 GB SD card, so you can begin snapping right away. Although the microSD card slot can support a card of up to 8GB.

Other features as you would expect from any music phone are also present. Such as an FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack to connect headphones, and dedicated media keys on the side. It also has built in stereo speakers.

Being a music Mobile Phone is has impressive media support, it is capable of playing:

Audio formats: AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, eAAC, eAAC+, MIDI Tones (poly 64), Mobile XMF, MP3, MP4, SP-MIDI, True tones, WMA

Video Formats: 3GPP formats (H.263), H.264/AVC, MPEG-4

Image Formats: BMP, GIF87a, GIF89a, JPEG, PNG, WBMP

It also comes with the latest Flash Lite 3.0 player.


It is also well equipped in connectivity, first of all being a quad band phone, and having support for GPRS and EDGE. It also comes preloaded with the Opera Mobile browser.

It manages to give a talk time of around 6hrs and standby time of around 288 hours (12 days). Overall an impressive entry level phone, with the minor blemish of a Series 40 Symbian OS.
